Weekend NHL Transactions

CALGARY FLAMES-Assigned D Mark Giordano to Omaha of the AHL.

CHICAGO BLACKHAWKS-Recalled D Danny Richmond from Norfolk of the AHL.

EDMONTON OILERS-Recalled LW Alexei Mikhnov from Wilkes-Barre/Scranton of the AHL.

PITTSBURGH PENGUINS-Assigned F John LeClair to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton of the AHL.

TAMPA BAY LIGHTNING-Claimed F Andre Roy off waivers from Pittsburgh. Assigned C Nick Tarnasky to Springfield of the AHL and then recalled him. Assigned G Karri Ramo to Springfield.

Lol Leclair in the AHL...

Although the Rangers lost it was really nice to see Viktor Kozlov score four goals.

Kozlov has always been an underacheiver , but he has the talent to do more .
He kind of reminds me of a less talented Alex Kovalev .

I don't know about you guys, but when I watch a Hockey game, I really hope that I get to see atleast one fight. It just makes the game more exciting.

This is why I cant drink or eat when I watch Hockey, cause I usually end up spilling it when I get over excited for fights and hits

LOL I did. I was about to fall outta my chair thinking "somebody is defending Darcy?" I have a tape of a Flyers and Leafs playoff game from like 2002 and there's one hit where Primeau is along the boards,sees Gary Roberts coming out of the corner of his eye,lowers the shoulder and puts Roberts on his back. Makes me smile every time I see it.
